Before committing to the purchase of a property, our client wanted to understand the practicality and financial implications of adding a single-storey extension.  CGC QS & Estimating were engaged to provide a comprehensive cost estimate to assist in assessing whether the proposed works were viable within their budget and aligned with their investment plans. 

Scope of Works

The proposed extension aimed to add additional living space to the rear of the property, incorporating an open-plan kitchen and dining area. The scope included:

• • Structural alterations to accommodate the new extension.

  • Foundations, walls, roof construction, and external finishes.

  • Internal fit-out, including flooring, plastering, and painting.

  • Mechanical and electrical (M&E) works for lighting, heating, and ventilation.

  • Integration of bi-fold doors to enhance natural light and connectivity to the garden.
